Barrier Farms

We are a fourth generational, family owned and operated farm located in Mount Pleasant. We farm over 1200 acres which still include part of the original farm. We specialize in pasture raised beef, chicken, and pork, as well as certified GMO free animal feeds. We grow all of our own grains on farm and mill them at the old family grain mill where we sell from. We have a self serve, honor system feed mill with every animal feed for all your farm needs! Our animals are all kept on pasture Till they leave to be harvested. All of our animals used for meat are our animals and have lived their entire lives on our farm. This allows us to have complete control over how their raised so as to continue to have consistent products. Our goal is to allow our animals to have the most natural lives possible! Our beef is grain finished with our own customer GMO free feed to insure ultimate tenderness and no grassy taste. Our family has been raised for generations to take care of our land and raise the highest quality products we can! We love sharing what we do with our community and sharing with everyone exactly how their food is raised!
