Colpitts PineRidge Ranch is a family owned and operated farm/ranch located in rural Northeastern Oklahoma. Tucked away in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains we have a rolling landscape of timber and grass where the ample rainfall makes it ideal for raising livestock. The cornerstone of our operation has been and always will be a focus on producing the most healthy meats possible for our family and customers. Because we know that tenderness and flavor are crucial to ensuring the highest customer satisfaction we raise only heritage breed cattle and hogs proven to provide the most tender and flavorful meats. Our Red Angus cattle are born and raised here on our ranch where they are fed only grass. Utilizing a grazing practice known as Management Intensive Grazing (MIG) we move our cattle to fresh grass regularly and they always have access to fresh clean water. Originating from the desire to produce meat products that are as healthy as possible we never use anti-biotics, hormones or steroids to increase growth. Because we operate what is called a closed herd which means no new cattle every come to our ranch we do not use inoculations. To further ensure the healthiness of our meat we do not use pesticides or herbicides on our fields. We are confident you will not find a more healthy, flavorful or tender meat. We believe our Berkshire pork is second to none. Raised on our farm from 8 weeks old to finishing, our Berkshire pork was recently featured in the national chef competition Cochon 555 and is currently served in several fine dining restaurants. We partner with local farmers to provide us with healthy young hogs which we raise on a natural feed that contains no anti-biotics, hormones or steroids. Raised outdoors our hogs grow up on grass and dirt where they are allowed to run and be active.
