Grazeland Farms produces pasture raised eggs on 230 acres near Jamesport, Missouri. Our hens are raised cage-free and get fresh pasture every day. The mobile hen houses are moved by our Amish employees and a team of draft horses. We utilize farming practices that are very similar to those of Joel Salatin and Polyface Farms. Joel's Feathernet and Eggmobile systems have been a great inspiration to us, and we have tried to apply many of his ideas to our farm. Our goal is to expand pasture egg production to a larger scale than has been done before, so more people can enjoy the wonderful, healthy eggs that are produced in this system. We welcome vistors to the farm on Monday-Friday. We love for our customers to see how we raise the chickens and the eggs. Eggs are sold by the dozen on the farm and at a few local stores.
