Javernick Family Farms is a 4th generation farm and ranch. The Javernick family homesteaded here in Canon City, Colorado. We continue the tradition by striving to be the best stewards to the land by raising Certified Naturally Grown produce, enriching our soils through sustainable practices, and improving the ecosystems at our farm. We also raise grass-finished beef, and pork. Our produce includes heirloom varieties of vegetables as well as many others varieties that we grow on our farm. We also grow open-polinated seed. In the spring we take orders for vegetable starts for businesses and small farmers. Our internship program is defined on our website. You will learn about greenhouse production, watering systems, outdoor vegetable production, livestock production, and retail and wholesale marketing. Please call for more information.
