Description
M&M Creek Valley Farm is a small family owned and operated farm specializing in the humane and organic raising of heritage breed hogs and chickens (for eggs only), as nature intended. We use a managed rotational grazing system and reseed as soon as the hogs are turned into a fresh paddock to ensure coverage of the soil to prevent erosion. We compost manure and reuse it in our gardens. Our hogs forage in our wooded acreage, as well as on pasture consisting of clover and orchard grasses to provide the best diet for them as possible. They are supplemented with non-gmo grain and goat milk whey, courtesy of a local goat dairy, Yellow Springs Farm.
