Description
At Hill of a New Song we strive to do our best in supporting life. We know that the life in the soil is what determines the health of the people who live on that soil and so our priority in vegetable growing is to nurture the soil. This means that we are very concise about not using destructive practices that harm the environment. We are a sustainable farm that doesn't use any chemicals. Instead we depend upon the health of the plant. We use only very minimal tilling when necessary. We grow a whole variety of produce including: Lettuce, Spinach, Kale, Herbs, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Peppers, Eggplant, Onions, Potatoes and Sweet Potatoes, Carrots, Sweet Corn, Green Beans, Strawberries, Raspberries, Summer Squash, Winter Squash, Melons, Artichokes, Cut Flowers. We are also developing livestock herds. Black Angus Beef, Katahdin Sheep and Chicken. All majorly raised on pasture and only fed very small portions of grain that of which is non-gmo of course. Thank you for supporting local farms and helping to have a sustainable future.
