Description

LoganBerry Heritage Farm is a 60-acre sustainable heritage farm located in the mountains of North Georgia. Stewarded by a fifth-generation granddaughter, LoganBerry is farmed using natural (as in nature) methods. Farming practices include composting, compost tea sprays, remineralization, crop rotation, cover-cropping, using heritage seeds, promoting biodiversity, building organic matter in the soil, raised bed systems, on-site greenhouse, plant propagation and more. With a focus on heritage foods, LoganBerry Heritage Farm practices seed-saving, with many of the seeds from family and community. A small herd of heritage breed cattle, Tarentaise, are pasture-raised and intensively grazed (100% grass-fed) for healthier cattle and sustainable farming. Our goal is to produce foods that are as close to nature, and the earth, as possible. An ONLINE Farm Market (https://squareup.com/market/loganberry-heritage-farm) features weekly Harvest offerings. Special on site Markets held occasionally. Check our website for up-to-date hours.
