Description
Larson FarmLLC is a grass-based dairy and beef farm in rural Vermont. We are 22 miles SW of Rutland,VT, and one and one half hours from Albany, NY. Our 20 Jerseys graze day and night for the entire grazing season, and are housed in a bedded pack for the winter. We have stopped feeding grain to our dairy, so are producing 100% grass-fed milk, breeding for an A2 herd. We sell raw milk, and also 100% grass-fed beef from our Devon herd. The beef animals are hardier, and winter outside, with hay for feed. They are born and raised here. We are most passionate about restoring and re-mineralizing our soils, knowing that healthy soils bringing forth healthy forage, makes for healthy animals, clean and nutrient dense food, which will lead to healthy humans, who can then develop a healthy society. So, this is our way to change the world.
