Description
Cornucopia Farm is our family farm located in Southern Indiana. We specialize in "Educating about Agriculture while Having Fun!" We enjoy meeting our customers at the Washington County Farmers Market beginning in June through October. Our market located on our farm is officially open in September and October. However, customers may e-mail or call us for produce and mums throughout the season. We grow several kinds of pumpkinsincluding white ones, squash, gourds, and Indian corn. We also grow our own mums with many varieties to choose from. Our family bales straw for sale and has fodder shocks for your fall decorating needs. We have a supply of dried gourds available for sale throughout the year. We specialize in fall educational tours for schools and other groups. We tailor the program to meet the specific needs of the group whether it be a pre-school or a senior citizen outing. This includes a tour of our petting farm where our farm animals live. Our teenage sons, Michael and Jared, grow sweet corn, potatoes, tomatoes, okra, green beans and more that they sell at our Farmers' Market and at Cornucopia Farm. They hope to expand this operation more in the future. We also have a herd of Boer Goats. Our dairy beef steers are sold for freezer beef.
