After years of cooking in the some of the finest establishments in Chicago, Vern Meyer decided to sell everything and become a farmer in order to supply nothing but the freshest herbs to his colleagues. That was over 25 years ago. Vern grew the business into a world wide company employing over 700 people. In addition to growing herbs on a large-scale, commercial basis, he is looking for ways to focus on the local community that he loves so much. Vern and everyone at Meyer Farms wants to provide the best quality vegetables, herbs, and eggs to you, our neighbors. We grow a wide array of produce. Check our website for current selection.
