Description
Gifford Farm Education Center is a USDA certified educational farm. We are part of Educational Service Unit #3 for the State of Nebraska. We have 280 acres of cropland with the remaining being homestead and forest land. We provide outdoor educational services to schools, day cares, and other groups throughout eastern Nebraska and western Iowa. Our educational programs include farm tours, a 1 acre Outdoor Nature Classroom certified by Nature Explore, a low ropes team challenge course, a Living History program, a Lewis & Clark program, an exotic animals program, and a StarLab Planetarium program. Many of these programs can travel. We can tailor a program to fit your special event or educational needs.
