Description
Olde Forge Farms raises vegetables; trout; pigs; goats; pasture-raised chickens, heritage breed turkeys, ducks, and geese. We also run a farm stand on Route 22, where we offer our own products, as well as jams, wool, pastas, honey, syrup, granola, fudge and teas made by our friends, who also operate small businesses. We're located in picturesque eastern Dutchess County, in the hamlet of Wassaic, New York. We use sustainable methods in our vegetable and fish production to leave a minimal environmental impact compared to conventional farms. Our farm has been featured in the Millbrook Independent and Main Street Magazine, and we're a popular installment at local farmers markets in Millerton and Amenia.
