WE ARE AUTHORIZED TO ACCEPT SNAP, Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) and the WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program Over the past 20 years, Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) has become a popular way for consumers to buy local, seasonal food directly from a farmer. Lisks Heritage Farm CSA program offers full and half share options to fit the needs of you and your family. Our CSA program runs for 18 weeks from June through September offering you our freshest award winning fruits, vegetables, eggs, cheese and honey week after week. You can expect to receive a different, delicious assortment of fruits and vegetables depending on what is at the peak of flavor each week. For our Full Share Members- You will receive 5-8 different fruits, Herbs and vegetables per week. Along with our fruits and vegetables each week you will also receive 1dz of our Organic, Hormone free Farm Fresh Eggs (as long as the chickens are laying), 2-3 bunches of fresh picked herbs. Every other month you will receive 1lb of local honey produced by our own bees in our apiary (When available). In July/Aug you will receive (4) of our Pasture Raised Non-GMO/Hormone Free chickens which will weigh approx. 5-7 lbs. (value over $120 if you purchased them separately). They will be processed at a PA DEPT of Agriculture inspected processing center. (Unless you choose to exchange 2 chickens for a turkey ready for Thanksgiving) Along with our fruits and vegetables each week you will also receive 1dz of our Organic, Hormone free Farm Fresh Eggs (as long as the chickens are laying), 2-3 bunches of fresh picked herbs. Every other month (When available) you will receive 1lb of local honey produced by our own bees in our apiary. In (July/Aug) you will receive two (2) of our Pasture Raised Non-GMO/Hormone Free chickens which will weigh approx. 5-7 lbs. (value over $60 if you purchased them separately). They will be processed at a PA DEPT of Agriculture inspected processing center. (Unless you choose to exchange 2 chickens for a turkey ready for Thanksgiving). We will try to work with individuals and tweak their boxes to better reflect their needs. CSAs are a great way for you to get the highest quality local produce delivered on a weekly basis straight from the farm. Also, going through a CSA means you get the most local produce for your dollar. CSA membership saves you over 25% on the retail prices of our fruits and vegetables all season long!
