Description
We at Franciscan Family Farms are committed to reversing some of the disturbing trends in modern agriculture we do not want to raise food that is less healthy than the food that our grandparents ate. We are a small farm in Southeast Missouri that is converting crop land back to diverse pastures and using that forage to raise grass fed beef, grass fed lamb, and occasionally pork and poultry. We are also raising heritage and unique breeds such as Dexter cattle, Lowline Angus, Red Wattle hogs, and katahdin sheep. We seek to raise animals and use them in a way that God intended (Cows eat Grass, and Hogs root in the dirt) we feel that this would be the way that St. Francis would be raising meat and interacting with God's creation.
